Crawford BTO FA20 DIT Long Block — Better Than OEM

The replacement, done better than stock — assembled complete.

We start with a brand new, genuine Subaru OEM FA20 DIT short block (Part #10103AC480) with every bearing upgraded by Crawford, and assemble it into a complete long block: new timing components.

This is not a built motor. No forged internals, no power claims beyond stock. If you want power, buy a Crawford built long block. If you need your car back, buy this.

Choose Your Heads

Your heads are your choice — pick one when you order:

• Send-In — Inspected & Prepped (+$619.99): Ship us your cylinder heads. We clean, disassemble, and fully inspect them: warpage & thickness measurement, spark plug hole crack inspection, pressure test of each head, and a pass/fail evaluation for reuse — then assemble them onto your long block.
• Street Spec — Send-In (+$1,495) / Street Spec — New (+$2,990): The Crawford Street Spec head package: full disassembly & cleaning, warpage & thickness check, pressure test of both heads, R&R 16 valve guides, OHC bucket valve adjustment, 3-angle valve job, precision resurface, and final assembly with heat tab. Send in yours, or choose New and the work is done on new OEM Subaru cylinder heads.
• Bandit — Send-In (+$2,495) / Bandit — New (+$3,990): The Crawford Bandit head package: everything in Street Spec, plus full port & polish airflow optimization, a 5-angle valve job, and performance-level resurfacing. Send in yours, or choose New and the work is done on new OEM Subaru cylinder heads.

Send-in means you ship your cylinder heads to us after ordering — every send-in head is inspected first, before any work proceeds.
