Crawford Performance's off-road program didn't start with a marketing plan. It started with a Subaru factory-backed Class 5 Unlimited buggy that won races in the desert, and a question: how much of that engineering translates to a daily-driven Subaru on a backcountry trail?
Most of it, as it turns out.
Every part in our off-road lineup — lift kits, skid plates, bumpers, rock sliders, suspension components, exhaust — was developed alongside our race program and validated on customer vehicles before it ever shipped. We don't source off-the-shelf parts and rebrand them. We engineer, test, and manufacture in-house.
What we build
Suspension and lift kits. Designed for the Crosstrek, Forester, and Impreza chassis specifically, not adapted from generic crossover hardware. Lift heights and spring rates chosen to preserve OEM geometry and ride quality.
Underbody protection. Skid plates and rock sliders engineered to the load paths of the Subaru subframe. Built from materials that absorb impact without transferring stress to the chassis.
Engine and drivetrain. Where our race heritage shows up most directly. Tuned boxer engine packages, Air/Oil Separators, and cooling upgrades developed under desert race conditions.
Recovery and overland accessories. Roof racks, lighting, and recovery gear selected and integrated to match the rest of the build.

The Crosstrek EveryRoad
Our flagship build — a fully equipped overland Crosstrek that demonstrates what the platform is capable of when every component is engineered together rather than bolted on piecemeal. It carries the same Subaru Motorsports USA livery as the Desert Racer.
