Every Crawford built motor includes a 1-year / 12,000-mile warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. No extra charge. No fine print games.

What it takes
Three things. That's it.
Professional installation. Any competent shop — not just a "certified network." Keep your receipts.
Documented break-in. Follow the Crawford break-in procedure. Keep records.
A sane tune. Within the motor's rated power. If you bought a 450-whp motor and tuned it to 600, that's on you.
If something goes wrong
We rebuild it or replace it — our call, our shop. You cover freight both ways. If we tear it down and the failure is on you (bad tune, no oil, overheating), you cover the teardown. That's the filter that keeps frivolous claims out and honest claims fast.
What isn't covered
Detonation from a bad tune or bad fuel. Oil starvation. Overheating. Skipped break-in. Racing and competition use. Customer-supplied parts. Power beyond the rated output. Missing maintenance records. Non-professional installation.
In short: if you built it right, installed it right, tuned it right, and maintained it — you're covered. If you didn't, you're not.
Why we can offer this
Most built-motor failures aren't workmanship. They're tunes, oiling, and abuse — all excluded above. What's left is early-life defects, which surface in break-in. We catch those before the motor ships. That's why three years doesn't scare us.
