2018 - What's New at Crawford Performance

Effective July 1, 2017, QC Enterprises (formerly doing business as Crawford Performance) transitioned to new ownership and rebranded as Crawford Performance Inc. Under the leadership of Neal Grabowski, the company continues its legacy with the support of its seasoned core team. Mr. Grabowski, a distinguished entrepreneur with over three decades of success managing prominent businesses in California, brings extensive expertise to the helm. Renowned for his illustrious career in off-road racing—including his tenure as a desert racing champion—Neal remains an influential figure in the industry, driven by an unwavering passion for performance and innovation. Most recently he has been the spearhead on the new Class 5 ‘Crosstrek Desert Racer’ project alongside Crawford Performance and Subaru of America. Neal is committed and focused on building the already existing foundation of Crawford Performance and driving it forward into its next chapter.

The founder of Crawford Performance, Quirt Crawford, is still leading the company’s Research and Development Department. All quality and performance standards will be maintained with his expertise on not only Subaru products, but automotive engineering in general.
Quirt Crawford, the esteemed founder of Crawford Performance, continues to helm the company’s Research and Development Department. Leveraging his profound expertise in both Subaru products and the broader field of automotive engineering, he ensures that the highest standards of quality and performance are consistently upheld. Hailing from a lineage of motorsport enthusiasts, Quirt was immersed in racing culture from an early age, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather who were avid racers themselves.

With a distinguished career marked by significant contributions to two factory-sponsored race programs and leadership of a third, Quirt brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for high-performance engineering to every project he undertakes. From holding the title of Crew Chief on Ford Saleen’s race program with Tim Allen, to building and operating Nissan NPTI’s Dyno, Quirt was destined to lead his own factory program with Subaru of America.

With their support, he created the world’s fastest Subaru Impreza in 2008, and built the legendary Gymkhana One and Two cars for Ken Block. This set the standard for Subaru Performance, and Crawford Performance continues to lead with reliable and record-breaking results.

Although racing is rich in the history of our team’s leaders, our focus has shifted to components designed and engineered for any vehicle owner: racer or not; Subaru or not. Testing in the highest of extremes from the race track has allowed us to perfect the designs of components that will reduce oil consumption, increase the life and the health of your engine, and even increase fuel mileage. Our performance parts are limited but still available, so please do not hesitate to inquire.

Crawford Performance’s ultimate goal will be to develop the company by building on the existing local and worldwide customer base, creating a streamlined user friendly website, promoting current dealers as well as future dealers, and increasing inventory and our product line. These efforts will be made to ensure that Crawford Performance excels forward into the next chapter within the on and off-road markets.
