Bone stock, brand new, genuine OEM fully assembled short block.

You can safely make up to 300whp/360bhp on an OEM FA20 short block with proper maintenance and a solid tune. This part is an ingredient to our recipe for a reliable Subaru engine. If you purchase an OEM block along with our CrawfordSPEC pistons or piston/long rod combo, you can assemble your own Crawford built short block that can handle up to 600whp.

Compatible Vehicles

Part #10103AC260 is the naturally aspirated 2.0L FA20 short block used in the first-generation twins:

• Subaru BRZ (2013–2020)
• Scion FR-S (2013–2016)
• Toyota 86 (2017–2020)

It does not fit the 2022+ BRZ / GR86 (FA24) or the turbocharged FA20 DIT in the WRX and Forester XT. Need the DIT block? See Part #10103AC480 here.

What's Included

A factory-assembled short block: block, crankshaft, rods, pistons, rings and bearings, assembled to Subaru's production tolerances. Heads, timing components, oil pump/front cover and gaskets are not included. Our FA20 Short Block Installation Kit has the OEM gaskets, ARP head studs, plugs, filter and break-in oil we recommend replacing during the swap.
