New Subaru OEM FA20 DIT Short Block Engine #10103AC480 is a bone stock, brand new, genuine OEM fully assembled short block. You can safely make up to 400whp/480bhp on an OEM FA20 DIT short block with proper maintenance and a solid tune.
This part is an ingredient to our recipe for a reliable Subaru engine. If you purchase an OEM block along with our CrawfordSPEC pistons or piston/long rod combo, you can assemble your own Crawford built short block that can handle up to 600whp.

Compatible Vehicles
Part #10103AC480 is the turbocharged, direct-injected 2.0L FA20 DIT short block used in:
- Subaru WRX (2015–2021)
- Subaru Forester XT (2014–2018)
It does not fit the 2022+ WRX (FA24 DIT) or the naturally aspirated FA20 in the BRZ, FR-S and 86. Need the N/A block? See Part #10103AC260 here.
What's Included
A factory-assembled short block: block, crankshaft, rods, pistons, rings and bearings, assembled to Subaru's production tolerances. Heads, timing components, oil pump/front cover and gaskets are not included. Our FA20 DIT Short Block Installation Kit has the OEM gaskets, ARP head studs, plugs, filter and break-in oil we recommend replacing during the swap.
